BANGKA BARAT – Bupati Bangka Barat, Markus, mendampingi Gubernur Kepulauan Bangka Belitung Hidayat Arsani bersama Forum Koordinasi Pimpinan Daerah (Forkopimda) saat meninjau arus mudik Natal dan Tahun Baru (Nataru) di Pelabuhan Tanjung Kalian, Mentok, Kamis (26/12/2025).
Dalam kunjungan tersebut, rombongan meninjau langsung sejumlah titik vital, mulai dari loket tiket penumpang, posko pengamanan terpadu, area kantong parkir tambahan, hingga berbagai fasilitas pendukung lainnya. Peninjauan dilakukan untuk memastikan pelayanan penyeberangan berjalan aman, tertib, dan nyaman bagi masyarakat.
Bupati Bangka Barat Markus mengatakan, kehadiran Gubernur dan Forkopimda merupakan bentuk keseriusan pemerintah dalam memastikan kesiapan ASDP Bangka menghadapi arus Nataru.
“Hari ini Forkopimda Bangka Belitung hadir langsung di Pelabuhan Tanjung Kalian untuk memastikan kesiapan ASDP Bangka. Kita berharap arus Nataru dapat berjalan dengan lancar, aman, dan tertib,” kata Markus.
Ia menyampaikan optimisme terhadap peningkatan layanan penyeberangan ke depan, seiring rencana penambahan satu dermaga baru di Pelabuhan Tanjung Kalian pada tahun mendatang.
“Tahun depan ASDP akan menambah satu dermaga lagi. Harapannya proses bongkar muat kendaraan dan penumpang bisa lebih cepat, sehingga antrean dapat diminimalkan,” ujarnya.
Namun demikian, Markus juga menyoroti perlunya kesiapan dari sisi pelabuhan tujuan di Sumatera Selatan. Selama ini, Pelabuhan Tanjung Api-api masih kerap mengalami kendala operasional, terutama akibat faktor pasang surut air laut.
“Kita juga berharap Pemerintah Provinsi Sumatera Selatan dapat bersiap dan mencarikan solusi. Karena selama ini masih ada kendala di Tanjung Api-api, yang menyebabkan waktu tunggu penyeberangan cukup lama,” tegas Markus.
Dengan sinergi antarpemerintah daerah dan instansi terkait, Markus optimistis arus penyeberangan Bangka–Sumatera selama Nataru dapat berjalan lebih optimal, sekaligus menjadi evaluasi penting untuk peningkatan layanan transportasi laut ke depan.
